Adhyaya 61The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat

अनेकदेशदर्शित्वेनातिश्रमसमान्वितः ।

त्वं नातिवृद्धो वयसा नातिवृत्तश्च यौवनात् ।

कथम् अल्पेन कालेन पृथिवीमटसि द्विज ॥

aneka-deśa-darśitvenātiśrama-samānvitaḥ |

tvaṁ nāti-vṛddho vayasā nāti-vṛttaś ca yauvanāt |

katham alpena kālena pṛthivīm aṭasi dvija ||

اتنے ملک دکھا کر آپ گویا سخت مشقت سے تھکے ہوئے معلوم ہوتے ہیں؛ مگر نہ آپ بہت بوڑھے ہیں نہ جوانی سے گزر چکے۔ اے برہمن، اتنے کم وقت میں آپ زمین کی سیر کیسے کرتے ہیں؟
