यन्नाम्बुपूर्वकं क्षिप्तमनर्थोकृतमेव च ।

त्यक्तुमाविष्कृतं यत् तु दत्तं चैवातिविस्मयात् ॥

yan nāmbu-pūrvakaṃ kṣiptam anartho-kṛtam eva ca |

tyaktum āviṣkṛtaṃ yat tu dattaṃ caivāti-vismayāt ||

اور جو کچھ پہلے پانی چڑھائے بغیر پھینک دیا جائے، اور جو کچھ بےفائدہ اور بےمقصد کیا جائے؛ جو محض دکھاوے کے لیے کیا جائے پھر چھوڑ دیا جائے؛ اور جو کچھ حد سے زیادہ حیرت/جوش میں دے دیا جائے—وہ سب بھی میں تمہیں دیتا ہوں۔
