आरक्ततामेति मुखं जिह्वा वा श्यामतां यदा ।
तदा प्राज्ञो विजानीयान्मृत्युमासन्नमात्मनः ॥
āraktatāmeti mukhaṃ jihvā vā śyāmatāṃ yadā / tadā prājño vijānīyānmṛtyumāsannamātmanaḥ
جب چہرہ سرخی اختیار کرے، یا زبان سیاہ/گہری ہو جائے، تو دانا جان لے کہ اس کے لیے موت قریب ہے۔
