Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
अभोज्यं सूतिका-षण्ढ-मार्जाराखुश्वकुक्कुटान् । पतिताविद्धचण्डाल-मृतहारांश्च धर्मवित् ॥
abhojyaṃ sūtikā-ṣaṇḍha-mārjārākhu-śva-kukkuṭān / patitāviddha-caṇḍāla-mṛtahārāṃś ca dharmavit
دھرم کا جاننے والا سوتیکا-اشوچ والی عورت سے متعلق، نامرد، بلی، چوہا، کتا اور مرغ—ان سے وابستہ کھانے کو ناقابلِ خوردن سمجھے؛ اسی طرح پَتِت، ویدھِت/داغ دار حیثیت والا، چنڈال اور مُردہ اٹھا کر روزی کمانے والوں سے متعلق غذا بھی۔
