Adhyaya 33Madālasa on the Fruit of Śrāddha Performed on Lunar Days and Nakṣatras

रेवतीषु तथा कुप्यमश्विनीषु तुरङ्गमान् । श्राद्धं कुर्वंस्तथाप्रोति भरणीष्वायुरुत्तमम् । तस्मात् काम्यानि कुर्वोत ऋक्षेष्वेतेषु तत्त्ववित् ॥

revatīṣu tathā kupyam aśvinīṣu turaṅgamān | śrāddhaṃ kurvaṃs tathāproti bharaṇīṣv āyur uttamam | tasmāt kāmyāni kurvota ṛkṣeṣv eteṣu tattvavit ||

ریوتی میں (شرادھ کرنے سے) دھات/اوزار وغیرہ (کُپیہ) حاصل ہوتے ہیں؛ اشونی میں گھوڑے ملتے ہیں؛ بھَرَṇی میں شرادھ کرنے والا بہترین درازیِ عمر پاتا ہے۔ لہٰذا تَتّوَ وِد کو چاہیے کہ ان نکشتروں میں کامیہ اعمال کرے۔
