Adhyaya 28 — Alarka Inquires into Varna and Ashrama Dharma; Madalasa Defines the Fourfold Duties
यावत्तु नोपनयनं क्रियते वै द्विजन्मनः ।
कामचेष्टोक्तिभक्ष्यश्च तावद् भवति पुत्रक ॥
yāvat tu nopanayanaṃ kriyate vai dvijanmanaḥ | kāmaceṣṭokti bhakṣyaś ca tāvad bhavati putraka ||
جب تک دو بار جنمے ہوئے (دِوِج) کا اُپنَین سنسکار ادا نہیں ہوتا، تب تک وہ آچرن، گفتار اور غذا میں اپنی خواہش کے مطابق برتاؤ کرتا رہتا ہے، اے بیٹے۔
