Adhyaya 22 — Kuvalayashva’s Death through Daitya-Deceit and Madalasa’s Self-Immolation
वारुणं यज्ञकार्यञ्च जलेशस्य महात्मनः ।
तन्मया साधितं सर्वं यन्ममासीदभीप्सितम् ॥
vāruṇaṃ yajñakāryañ ca jaleśasya mahātmanaḥ | tanmayā sādhitaṃ sarvaṃ yan mamāsīd abhīpsitam ||
ورُن سے متعلق یَجْنَیَ کرم—آب کے مہا ادھیپتی کا یہ وِدھان—میں نے پوری طرح ادا کر دیا؛ جو کچھ میں چاہتا تھا سب حاصل ہو گیا۔

Varuṇa, as cosmic order in the waters, symbolizes moral restraint and truth-binding; completing the ‘vāruṇa’ work hints at restoring inner and outer ṛta (order).
