घ्नन्तमत्यर्थमहितान्‌ विजयं तत्र मेनिरे कालमर्जुनरूपेण संहरन्तमिव प्रजा:,उस समरभूमिमें असंख्य शत्रुओंका संहार करते हुए पार्थकी ओर देखकर लोग यह मानने लगे कि अर्जुनके रूपमें साक्षात्‌ काल ही आकर सबका संहार कर रहा है

Transliteration

ghnantam atyartham ahitān vijayaṃ tatra menire kālam arjunarūpeṇa saṃharantam iva prajāḥ

Translation

اس میدانِ جنگ میں پارتھ کو نہایت زور سے بے شمار دشمنوں کا قلع قمع کرتے دیکھ کر لوگ یہ سمجھنے لگے کہ ارجن کے روپ میں گویا خود کال (موت/زمانہ) آ کر مخلوق کی جانیں سمیٹ رہا ہے۔
