Virāṭa Rescued from Suśarmā; Night Battle and Royal Gratitude (विराटमोक्षणं सुशर्मवधाभिमुखं च)
ते त्रिगर्ताश्न मत्स्याश्व संरब्धा युद्धदुर्मदा: । अन्योन्यमभिगर्जन्तो गोषु गृद्धा महाबला:,फिर तो क्रोधमें भरकर युद्धके लिये उन्मत्त हुए वे त्रिगर्त और मत्स्यदेशके महाबली वीर गौओंको ले जानेकी इच्छासे एक-दूसरेको लक्ष्य करके गर्जना करने लगे
te trigartāś ca matsyāś ca saṃrabdhā yuddha-durmadāḥ | anyonyam abhigarjanto goṣu gṛddhā mahābalāḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—پھر غصّے سے بھڑک کر اور جنگ کے نشے میں مست وہ تریگرت اور مَتسْیَ کے نہایت زورآور جنگجو، گایوں کی لالچ میں، ایک دوسرے کو نشانہ بنا کر گرجنے لگے۔
