Bhīṣma’s Admonition; Duryodhana’s Rājasūya Aspiration and the Proposal of a Vaiṣṇava-satra
“तुम्हारा राजा दुर्योधन मूर्ख है। उसे तनिक भी चेत नहीं है; क्योंकि वह हम देवलोकवासी गन्धर्वको भी बनियोंके समान समझकर इस प्रकार आज्ञा दे रहा है ।।
vaiśampāyana uvāca | yūyaṃ mumūrṣavaś cāpi mandaprajñā na saṃśayaḥ | ye tasya vacanād evam asmān brūta vicetasaḥ ||
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— تم یقیناً موت کی طرف مائل ہو اور تمہاری سمجھ بوجھ کند ہے— اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔ دُریودھن کے محض حکم پر تم بے تمیز ہو کر ہم سے اس طرح مخاطب ہو رہے ہو۔
