पितृदैवतपूजाभिर््राह्यिणाभ्यर्चनेन च । अनन्तं पुण्यलोकं तु गन्तासि त्वं न संशय:,राजन! तुम पितरों और देवताओंकी पूजासे तथा ब्राह्मणोंका आदर-सत्कार करनेसे अक्षय पुण्यलोकमें जाओगे, इसमें संशय नहीं है
pitṛ-daivata-pūjābhir brāhmaṇābhyarcaneṇa ca | anantaṁ puṇya-lokaṁ tu gantāsi tvaṁ na saṁśayaḥ, rājan ||
مارکنڈیہ نے کہا—اے راجَن! پِتروں اور دیوتاؤں کی پوجا اور برہمنوں کی تعظیم و خدمت کے ذریعے تم یقیناً ایک لافانی اور بے کنار پُنّیہ لوک کو پاؤ گے؛ اس میں کوئی شک نہیں۔
