नैके युगसहस्रान्तास्त्वया दृष्टा महामुने । न चापीह सम: कश्रिदायुष्मान् दृश्यते तव,“महामुने! आपने हजार-हजार युगोंके अन्तमें होनेवाले अनेक महाप्रलयके दृश्य देखे हैं। इस संसारमें आपके समान बड़ी आयुवाला दूसरा कोई पुरुष नहीं दिखायी देता
naike yugasahasrāntās tvayā dṛṣṭā mahāmune | na cāpīha samaḥ kaścid āyuṣmān dṛśyate tava ||
اے مہامُنی! آپ نے ہزاروں ہزار یُگوں کے اختتام پر ہونے والے بہت سے مہاپرلَے کے مناظر دیکھے ہیں؛ اور اس دنیا میں آپ کے برابر دراز عمر کوئی اور دکھائی نہیں دیتا۔
