सततं धावमानश्ष्‌ चिन्तयानो विशाम्पते । (भ्रमंस्तत्र महीपाल यदा वर्षगणान्‌ बहून्‌ ।) आसादयामि नैवान्तं तस्य राजन्‌ महात्मन:

Transliteration

satatam dhāvamānaś cintayāno viśāmpate | bhramaṁs tatra mahīpāla yadā varṣagaṇān bahūn | āsādayāmi naivāntaṁ tasya rājan mahātmanaḥ |

Translation

وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا— اے رعایا کے سردار! میں مسلسل دوڑتا پھرتا اور اضطرابِ فکر میں ڈوبا رہتا تھا۔ اے مہীপال! وہاں برسوں تک بھٹکنے پر بھی، اے راجن، میں اس مہاتما کے جسم کی آخری حد تک نہ پہنچ سکا۔ تب، اے راجن، میں نے دل، زبان اور عمل کے ساتھ—پورے آداب و قواعد کے مطابق—اس برکتیں بخشنے والے اور نہایت قابلِ تعظیم دیوتا کی پناہ لی۔
