स मामपृच्छत् कौन्तेय क्वासि गन्ता ब्रवीहि मे । तस्मा अवितथं सर्वमन्रुवं कुरुनन्दन,उन्होंने मुझसे कहा--“कुन्तीनन्दन! कहाँ जाते हो? मुझे ठीक-ठीक बताओ।” तब मैंने उनसे सब कुछ सच-सच बता दिया
sa mām apṛcchat kaunteya kvāsi gantā bravīhi me | tasmā avitathaṁ sarvam anruvaṁ kurunandana ||
اس نے مجھ سے پوچھا—“اے کونتی کے بیٹے! کہاں جا رہے ہو؟ مجھے صاف صاف بتاؤ۔” تب، اے کورو نندن، میں نے بغیر کسی تحریف کے سچ سچ سب کچھ اسے بتا دیا۔
