एतौ हि कर्मणा लोकं नन्दयामासतुर्ध्ुवम् । द्विधाभूतौ महाप्राज्ञौ विद्धि ब्रह्मन् परंतपौ | असुराणां विनाशाय देवगन्धर्वपूजिती
etau hi karmaṇā lokaṁ nandayāmāsatur dhruvam | dvidhābhūtau mahāprājñau viddhi brahman paraṁtapau || asurāṇāṁ vināśāya devagandharvapūjitau ||
اپنے نیک اعمال سے ان دونوں نے یقیناً تمام جہانوں کو مسرور کیا ہے۔ اے برہمن! انہیں نہایت دانا اور دشمنوں کو تپانے والے جانو۔ حقیقت میں ایک ہونے کے باوجود، اسوروں کی ہلاکت کے لیے انہوں نے دو صورتیں اختیار کیں؛ دیوتا اور گندھرو سب ان کی پرستش کرتے ہیں۔
