Educational Q&A

Disciplined engagement with a dharmic narrative—here, the ‘Indravijaya’ episode—purifies the mind and conduct (symbolized as removal of sin) and leads to well-being in both present life and the hereafter.

Śalya concludes the episode with a phalaśruti: he states the spiritual and ethical benefits promised to a person who recites this ‘Indra’s Victory’ account with self-restraint and regular observance.
