Adhyāya 128 — Proposal to Restrain Keśava; Sātyaki’s Warning and Vidura–Dhṛtarāṣṭra Counsel
तस्य चैतत्प्रदानस्य फलमद्यानुपश्यसि । यद् भुड्क्षे पृथिवीं कृत्स्नां श्रै्निहतकण्टकाम्
tasya caitat-pradānasya phalam adyānupaśyasi | yad bhuṅkṣe pṛthivīṁ kṛtsnāṁ śatrūṇāṁ nihata-kaṇṭakām ||
اسی عطیے کا پھل تم آج اپنی آنکھوں سے دیکھ رہے ہو کہ اُن بہادر پانڈوپُتروں نے دشمنوں کے کانٹے کاٹ کر اس ساری زمین کو بےخار کر دیا، اور تم اسی پوری دھرتی کی بادشاہی سے لطف اندوز ہو رہے ہو۔
