शिवस्य भवने राजन् विष्णोर्याति सलोकताम् | राजन्! इसके बाद वह सूर्य, चन्द्रमा, शिव तथा भगवान् विष्णुके लोकमें जाता है
śivasya bhavane rājan viṣṇor yāti salokatām |
وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—اے راجَن! شِو کے الٰہی بھون میں وہ وِشنو کے ہملوک (سالوکْیَ) کو پہنچتا ہے۔
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the idea of sālokya—attaining the same divine realm as a deity—implying that righteous, sanctified living and devotion can culminate in exalted posthumous states and intimate proximity to the divine.
Vaiśaṃpāyana continues describing the spiritual destinations attained after death; here he states that the subject reaches Śiva’s abode and attains the same world as Viṣṇu, indicating a supreme, auspicious culmination of the journey.
