Svargārohaṇa-parva Adhyāya 2 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Inquiry for His Kin and the Vision of a Punitive Realm
भीमं च भीमविक्रान्तं प्राणेभ्योडपि प्रियं मम । अर्जुन चेन्द्रसंकाशं यमौ चैव यमोपमौ
bhīmaṃ ca bhīmavikrāntaṃ prāṇebhyo 'pi priyaṃ mama | arjunaṃ cendrasankāśaṃ yamau caiva yamopamau ||
یُدھِشٹھِر نے کہا—میں بھیَم کو دیکھنا چاہتا ہوں—جو ہیبت ناک شجاعت والا ہے اور میری جان سے بھی زیادہ عزیز؛ میں ارجن کو دیکھنا چاہتا ہوں جو اندرا کی مانند درخشاں ہے؛ اور میں ان جڑواں بھائیوں، نکُل اور سہ دیو، کو بھی دیکھنا چاہتا ہوں جو یم کی مانند ناقابلِ شکست ہیں۔ نیز میں دھرم پر قائم ملکہ، دیوی دروپدی، کا بھی دیدار چاہتا ہوں۔ مجھے یہاں ٹھہرنے کی ذرّہ بھر خواہش نہیں؛ میں تم سے یہ سچ کہتا ہوں۔
