सो<5हं कितवमातेव द्वयोरपि महामते । एकस्य जयमाशंसे द्वितीयस्यापराजयम्
so 'haṃ kitavamāteva dvayor api mahāmate | ekasya jayam āśaṃse dvitīyasya aparājayam, mahāmate ||
اے صاحبِ خرد! جیسے دو جواریوں کی ماں ایک کی جیت چاہتی ہے مگر دوسرے کی ہار نہیں چاہتی، اسی طرح میں بھی ان دونوں خیرخواہوں میں سے ایک کی کامیابی چاہتا ہوں، لیکن دوسرے کی ناکامی نہیں چاہتا۔
