स्यातां यस्याहुकाक्रूरी कि नु दुःखतरं ततः । यस्य चापि न तौ स्यातां कि नु दुःखतरं ततः
syātāṁ yasyāhukākrūrī ki nu duḥkhataraṁ tataḥ | yasya cāpi na tau syātāṁ ki nu duḥkhataraṁ tataḥ ||
جس شخص کے اپنے ہی رشتہ دار آہُک اور اَکرور—جو آپس میں جھگڑتے ہیں—دونوں ہوں، اس سے بڑھ کر غم کیا ہوگا؟ اور جس کے وہ دونوں خیرخواہ ہی نہ ہوں، اس سے بڑھ کر غم کیا—کہ ایسے دوستوں اور سہاروں کا نہ ہونا خود ایک بڑا نقصان ہے۔
