Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)

नाधर्मो विद्यते तत्र धर्म एव तु केवलम्‌ | इति कार्तयुगानेतान्‌ धर्मान्‌ विद्धि युधिष्ठिर,सत्ययुगमें अधर्मका सर्वथा अभाव हो जाता है। उस समय केवल धर्म-ही-धर्म रहता है। युधिष्ठिर! इन सबको सत्ययुगके धर्म समझो

nādharmo vidyate tatra dharma eva tu kevalam | iti kṛtayugān etān dharmān viddhi yudhiṣṭhira ||

بھیشم نے کہا—اُس یُگ میں اَधرم بالکل نہیں پایا جاتا؛ وہاں صرف دھرم ہی ہوتا ہے، اور کچھ نہیں۔ پس اے یُدھِشٹھِر، اِن سب کو کِرت (ستیہ) یُگ کے دھرم کے اصول و ضوابط سمجھو۔
