हुताहुतिरिव ज्योतिर्वष्याप्प तेजोमरीचिभि: । ओनिर्देश्येन रूपेण द्वितीय इव भास्कर:

hutāhutir iva jyotir vṛṣyāpt tejo-marīcibhiḥ | anirdeśyena rūpeṇa dvitīya iva bhāskaraḥ ||

گھی کی آہوتی سے تازہ بھڑکی ہوئی یَجْن کی آگ کی مانند وہ بھڑک اٹھا۔ اپنی تیز شعاعوں سے اس نے پورے دائرۂ نور کو گھیر لیا؛ اس کی صورت ناقابلِ بیان تھی—وہ دوسرے سورج کی طرح درخشاں تھا۔
