व्यासश्वाकथयत्‌ प्रीत्या धर्मपुत्राय धीमते । स एवायं मया तुभ्यमाख्यात: प्रसृतो गुरो:

Transliteration

Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Vyāsaś ca kathayat prītyā Dharmaputrāya dhīmate | sa evāyaṃ mayā tubhyam ākhyātaḥ prasṛto guroḥ ||

Translation

وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—دھرم پُتر یُدھِشٹھِر کے لیے محبت بھری نیک نیتی کے ساتھ ویاس نے اس دھرم کی تعلیم بیان کی تھی۔ جو دھرم خود گرو کے منہ سے جاری ہوا تھا، وہی میں نے یہاں تمہارے لیے بیان کر دیا ہے۔
