यो होतद्‌ ब्राह्मणो नित्यं शृणुयाद्‌ धारयीत वा । न तस्याध्ययनं नाशमुपगच्छेत्‌ कदाचन,जो ब्राह्मण प्रतेदिन इस अवतार-कथाको सुनता या स्मरण करता है, उसका अध्ययन कभी नष्ट (निष्फल) नहीं होता है

yo hotad brāhmaṇo nityaṁ śṛṇuyād dhārayīta vā | na tasyādhyayanaṁ nāśam upagacchet kadācana ||

جو برہمن روزانہ اس حکایت کو سنتا رہے یا اسے یاد میں محفوظ رکھے، اس کا ویدی مطالعہ اور علم کبھی زوال پذیر نہیں ہوتا، نہ کبھی بےثمر ہوتا ہے۔
