The verse highlights a dharmic mode of worship: honoring the Supreme (Nārāyaṇa) through Vedic speech (ṛc-hymns) and disciplined praise, showing that devotion is strengthened when grounded in sacred tradition and shared practice.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that their revered teacher, along with the group, proceeds onward and then offers a formal Vedic eulogy—using hymns derived from all four Vedas—to praise Nārāyaṇa.
