Atithi-prāpti and the Brāhmaṇa’s Deliberation on Triadic Dharma (अतिथिप्राप्तिः धर्मत्रयविचारश्च)

वैशम्पायन उवाच इत्युक्तास्तु वयं तेन वेदव्यासेन धीमता । सर्वे शिष्या: सुतश्नास्य शुक: परमधर्मवित्‌,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--जनमेजय! परम बुद्धिमान्‌ वेदव्यासने हम सब शिष्योंको तथा अपने परम धर्मज्ञ पुत्र शुकदेवको ऐसा ही उपदेश दिया

vaiśampāyana uvāca | ity uktās tu vayaṃ tena vedavyāsena dhīmatā | sarve śiṣyāḥ sutaś ca asya śukaḥ paramadharmavit ||

وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—اے جنمیجَے! اس نہایت دانا ویدویاس نے ہم سب شاگردوں کو اور اپنے فرزند شُک کو بھی—جو اعلیٰ ترین دھرم کا جاننے والا تھا—اسی طرح نصیحت کی تھی۔
