Adhyāya 33 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Conflict Remorse and Inquiry on Āśrama Discipline (शोक-विमर्शः, आश्रम-जिज्ञासा)

धूतपाप्माजितस्वर्गो लोकान्‌ प्राप्प सुखोदयान्‌ | मरुदगणैर्वृत: शक्र: शुशुभे भासयन्‌ दिश:,उनके सारे पाप धुल गये। उन्होंने स्वर्गपर विजय पायी और सुखदायक लोकोंमें पहुँचकर वे इन्द्र सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंको प्रकाशित करते हुए मरुदगणोंके साथ शोभा पाने लगे

dhūtapāpmājitasvargo lokān prāpya sukhodayān | marudagaṇair vṛtaḥ śakraḥ śuśubhe bhāsayan diśaḥ ||

ان کے سب گناہ دھل گئے۔ انہوں نے سُوَرگ تک رسائی پائی اور مسرت بخش عوالم میں جا پہنچے؛ وہاں مرودگنوں سے گھرا ہوا شَکر (اندَر) اپنی درخشانی سے تمام سمتوں کو روشن کرتا ہوا جلوہ گر ہوا۔
