कालोपपन्नेन तदा स्वाद्धन्नेना भ्यतर्पयन् । उन्होंने पाद्य, अर्घ्ध आदि निवेदन करके उत्तम विधिसे शुकदेवजीका पूजन किया और उन्हें समयानुकूल स्वादिष्ठ अन्न भोजन कराकर पूर्णतः तृप्त किया
kālopapannena tadā svādu-annenābhyatarpayat | pādya-arghyādi-nivedanena ca uttama-vidhinā śukadevaṃ pūjayām āsa, kālānukūlena svādiṣṭānnena bhojayitvā paritoṣayām āsa |
پھر اس نے پادْیَ، اَرغْیَ وغیرہ حسبِ دستور نذرانہ پیش کر کے بہترین طریقے سے شُک دیو کی پوجا کی، اور موقع و وقت کے مطابق لذیذ کھانا کھلا کر انہیں پوری طرح سیر و شاد کر دیا۔
