देवतापितृप्रश्नः — Nārada at Badarīāśrama: the ultimate referent of daiva and pitṛ worship

सहस््रशो5प्यनेकश: प्रवक्तुमुत्सहाम ते । अबुद्धिमोहनं पुन: प्रभुर्निनाय पावक:,वत्स! मैं तुम्हारे सामने हजारों तथा उससे भी अधिक बार यह बात जोर देकर कह सकता हूँ कि सर्वशक्तिमान्‌ तथा सबको पवित्र करनेवाले धर्मने, जिसकी बुद्धिपर मोह नहीं छा गया है, उस धर्मात्मा पुरुषको सदा ही पुण्यलोकमें पहुँचाया है

Transliteration

sahasraśo 'py anekaśaḥ pravaktum utsahāma te | abuddhi-mohanaṃ punaḥ prabhur nināya pāvakaḥ ||

Translation

ویاس نے کہا—اے بچے! میں یہ بات ہزار بار، بار بار زور دے کر کہہ سکتا ہوں: قادرِ مطلق پروردگار آگ کی مانند پاک کرنے والا ہے؛ وہ اس فریب کو دور کر دیتا ہے جو عقل پر پردہ ڈال دیتا ہے۔ لہٰذا جس نیک مرد کی عقل اس گمراہی سے مغلوب نہ ہو، وہ ہمیشہ ثواب کے لوک کی طرف رہنمائی پاتا ہے۔
