Transliteration

yājñavalkya uvāca | tathaivotkramamāṇaṃ tu śṛṇuṣvāvahito nṛpa | padabhyām utkramamāṇasya vaiṣṇavaṃ sthānam ucyate ||

Translation

یاج्ञولکیہ نے کہا: اے بادشاہ! ہوشیار ہو کر سنو، میں موت کے وقت پران کے نکلنے کا حال بیان کرتا ہوں۔ اگر پران پاؤں کے راستے نکلے تو کہا گیا ہے کہ رخصت ہونے والا وِشنو کے برتر دھام کو پاتا ہے۔
