Saṃhāra-krama (The Sequence of Cosmic Dissolution) — Yājñavalkya’s Discourse

पृथ्वीनाथ! बलवान्‌ योगी बन्धनोंको तोड़नेमें समर्थ होता है, उसमें अपनेको मुक्त करनेकी पूर्ण शक्ति आ जाती है, इसमें तनिक भी संशय नहीं है ।। बलानि योगप्राप्तानि मयैतानि विशाम्पते | निदर्शनार्थ सूक्ष्माणि वक्ष्यामि च पुनस्तव,प्रजापालक नरेश! मैं दृष्टान्तके लिये योगसे प्राप्त होनेवाली कुछ सूक्ष्म शक्तियोंका पुनः तुमसे वर्णन करूँगा

Bhīṣma uvāca: Pṛthvīnātha! balavān yogī bandhanāni toḍane samartho bhavati; tasmin ātmānaṃ mocayituṃ pūrṇā śaktir āgacchati—atra tanik api saṃśayo nāsti. Balāni yogaprāptāni mayaitāni viśāṃpate, nidarśanārthaṃ sūkṣmāṇi vakṣyāmi ca punas tava.

بھیشم نے کہا—اے زمین کے مالک! طاقتور یوگی اپنے بندھن توڑنے پر قادر ہوتا ہے؛ اس کے اندر خود کو آزاد کرنے کی کامل قوت بیدار ہو جاتی ہے—اس میں ذرّہ بھر بھی شک نہیں۔ اے رعایا کے پالنے والے راجہ! مثال کے طور پر یوگ سے حاصل ہونے والی چند لطیف قوتوں کا میں پھر تم سے بیان کروں گا۔
