उत्तर: पृथिवी भाग: सर्वपुण्यतम: शुभ: । इहस्थास्तत्र जायन्ते ये वै पुण्यकृतो जना:

Transliteration

uttaraḥ pṛthivī-bhāgaḥ sarva-puṇya-tamaḥ śubhaḥ | ihasthās tatra jāyante ye vai puṇya-kṛto janāḥ ||

Translation

بھاردواج نے کہا—زمین کا شمالی خطہ سب سے بڑھ کر پُنیہ مند اور مبارک ہے۔ اس دنیا میں جو لوگ دھرم کے مطابق نیک اعمال کرتے ہیں، وہی موت کے بعد اسی خطے میں دوبارہ جنم لیتے ہیں۔
