न द्वितीयस्य शिरसश्छेदनं विद्यते क्वचित् । न च पाणेस्तृतीयस्य यन्नास्ति न ततो भयम्
na dvitīyasya śirasaś chedanaṁ vidyate kvacit | na ca pāṇes tṛtīyasya yan nāsti na tato bhayam ||
بھیشم نے کہا—کسی کو دوسرے سر کے کٹ جانے کا خوف نہیں ہوتا، نہ تیسرے ہاتھ کے کٹ جانے کا؛ کیونکہ ایسی چیزیں موجود ہی نہیں۔ جو حقیقت میں نہیں، اس سے خوف بھی نہیں ہوتا؛ خوف وہیں پیدا ہوتا ہے جہاں کوئی واقعی بنیاد ہو۔
