निर्वेदोपदेशः (Nirveda-Upadeśa) — Maṅki’s Dispassion and the Limits of Wealth-Seeking

त॑ काश्यपो<ब्रवीत्‌ प्रीतो नोत्कण्ठां कर्तुमहसि । कृतकार्यो द्विजश्रेष्ठ सद्रव्यो यास्यसे गृहान्‌

taṁ kāśyapo 'bravīt prīto notkaṇṭhāṁ kartum arhasi | kṛtakāryo dvijaśreṣṭha sadravyo yāsyase gṛhān |

یہ سن کر کاشیپ خوش ہو کر بولا—“اے برہمنوں میں برتر! وہاں تک جانے کی بےتابی نہ کرو۔ تمہارا کام یہیں پورا ہو جائے گا۔ یہیں سے مال لے کر تم کِرتَکارْی ہو کر اپنے گھر لوٹو گے۔”

Kāśyapa, pleased, reassures a brāhmaṇa addressed as ‘best of the twice-born’ that he need not proceed further; his objective will be met on the spot, and he may go home with wealth, his task completed.
