तमेकमसुरा: सर्वे सहस्नमिति मेनिरे । शीघ्रतापूर्वक पैर उठानेके कारण विचित्र गतिसे विचरण करनेवाले एकमात्र खड्गधारी रुद्रदेवको वे सब असुर सहस्रोंक समान समझने लगे
tam ekam asurāḥ sarve sahasram iti meṇire | śīghratā-pūrvaka-pada-uddhāna-kāraṇāt vicitra-gatyā vicaraṇa-śīlaṁ ekamātra-khaḍga-dhāriṇaṁ rudradevaṁ te sarve 'surāḥ sahasrāṇāṁ samam aśaṁsanta |
وہ سب اسُر اُس ایک ہی شمشیر بردار رُدر دیو کو—جو تیزی سے قدم اٹھاتے ہوئے عجیب و غریب رفتار سے چل رہا تھا—ہزاروں کے برابر سمجھنے لگے۔
