उन्माथमप्यथादाय चाण्डालो वीक्ष्य सर्वश:,भरतश्रेष्ठ] चाण्डालने उस जालको लेकर उसे सब ओरसे उलट-पलटकर देखा और निराश होकर क्षणभरमें उस स्थानसे हट गया और अन्तमें अपने घरको चला गया
unmātham apy athādāya cāṇḍālo vīkṣya sarvaśaḥ
بھیشم نے کہا—چنڈال نے وہ آلہ بھی اٹھا کر ہر طرف سے الٹ پلٹ کر دیکھا۔ جب اس میں نہ کوئی فائدہ نظر آیا نہ امید، تو وہ پل بھر میں اس جگہ سے ہٹ گیا اور آخرکار اپنے گھر لوٹ گیا—یہ دکھاتا ہے کہ جہاں حق نہیں وہاں نفع کی خواہش بالآخر مایوسی میں ڈھل جاتی ہے۔
