कृतमित्येव दैत्येन्द्रमुवाच स च वै द्विज: । प्रह्मादस्त्वब्रवीत् प्रीतो गृह्ुतां वर इत्युत,तब उस ब्राह्मणने दैत्ययाजसे कहा--“आपने मेरी सारी अभिलाषा पूर्ण कर दी'। यह सुनकर प्रह्नाद और भी प्रसन्न हुए और बोले--“कोई वर अवश्य माँगो'
kṛtam ity eva daityendram uvāca sa ca vai dvijaḥ | prahlādas tv abravīt prīto gṛhyatāṁ vara ity uta ||
تب اس برہمن نے دَیتیہوں کے سردار سے کہا: “کرتَم—آپ نے میری آرزو پوری کر دی۔” یہ سن کر پرہلاد اور زیادہ خوش ہوا اور بولا: “تو پھر ایک ور ضرور قبول کرو؛ مانگو۔”
