बाणवद्धिसृता यान्ति स्वामिकार्यपरा नरा: । ये भृत्या: पार्थिवहितास्तेषां सान्त्वं प्रयोजयेत्‌

Transliteration

bāṇavaddhi sṛtā yānti svāmikāryaparā narāḥ | ye bhṛtyāḥ pārthivahitās teṣāṃ sāntvaṃ prayojayet ||

Translation

بھیشم نے کہا—جو لوگ اپنے آقا کے کام میں یکسو رہتے ہیں وہ کمان سے چھوٹے ہوئے تیر کی طرح مقصد کی تکمیل کی طرف بڑھتے ہیں۔ پس جو خادم بادشاہ کے مفاد و بہبود کے لیے سرگرم ہوں، حاکم کو چاہیے کہ وہ انہیں شیریں اور تسلی بخش کلمات سے برابر حوصلہ دیتا رہے، تاکہ ان کا جوش اور وفاداری مضبوط رہے۔
