Educational Q&A

Moral worth is judged by tested character: a truly virtuous person remains transparent and unblemished under scrutiny, like a clean mirror and the clear autumn moon.

Bhishma, speaking as an authoritative elder and teacher in the Shanti Parva, offers a testimonial of someone’s integrity—stating that after thorough examination he finds no trace of sin or fault.
