उपायधर्म-सेनायोगः

यथामुख्यान्‌ संनिपात्य वक्तव्या: संशपामहे | विजयार्थ हि संग्रामे न त्यक्ष्याम: परस्परम्‌,तत्पश्चात्‌ मुख्य-मुख्य वीरोंको एकत्र करके यह प्रतिज्ञा करावे कि हम संग्राममें विजय प्राप्त करनेके लिये प्राण रहते एक-दूसरेका साथ नहीं छोड़ेंगे

yathā-mukhyān sannipātya vaktavyāḥ saṁśapāmahe | vijayārthaṁ hi saṅgrāme na tyakṣyāmaḥ parasparam |

پھر سرداروں اور نامور جانبازوں کو جمع کر کے اُن سے یہ پختہ عہد لیا جائے— ‘فتح کی خاطر میدانِ جنگ میں، جب تک جان باقی ہے، ہم ایک دوسرے کو ہرگز نہ چھوڑیں گے۔’
