Shloka 42

ते द्रोणपुत्रमासाद्य यथावृत्तं नयवेदयन्‌

te droṇaputram āsādya yathāvṛttaṃ nyavedayan |

سنجے نے کہا—وہ قاصد دروṇ کے بیٹے (اشوتھاما) کے پاس پہنچے اور جو کچھ ہوا تھا بعینہٖ وہی پورا حال سنایا—گدّا یُدھ میں بھیم سین کا برتاؤ کیسا تھا اور راجا کس طرح گرا دیا گیا۔ یہ خبر دے کر وہ غم سے جلتے ہوئے دیر تک فکر میں ڈوبے رہے؛ پھر سوگ سے بے قرار اور مضطرب ہو کر جیسے آئے تھے ویسے ہی چلے گئے۔
