दिष्ट्या नाहं परावृत्तो वैरात् प्राकृतवज्जित:
diṣṭyā nāhaṃ parāvṛtto vairāt prākṛtavajjitaḥ
سنجے نے کہا: “خوش بختی سے میں دشمنی کے سبب پیچھے نہیں ہٹا، اور نہ ہی میں نے کمینگی سے، عام و حقیر لوگوں کی طرح برتاؤ کیا۔”
संजय उवाच
Even amid hostility, one should not be driven by vaira (enmity) into rash retreat or ignoble behavior; ethical steadiness and self-mastery are praised as a form of victory.
