Even amid warfare, conduct is shaped by dharma expressed as discipline, loyalty, and coordinated responsibility. The warriors’ movement together toward the camp highlights collective duty and orderly leadership rather than impulsive violence.
Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that Dhṛṣṭadyumna, Śikhaṇḍī, Draupadī’s sons, and other great archers follow the Pāṇḍavas as they proceed to their encampments—an organized withdrawal/regrouping after the day’s events.
