शल्यस्य सेनापत्याभ्युपगमः | Śalya’s Acceptance of Command

न ध्रुवं सुखमस्तीति कुतो राष्ट्र कुतो यश: । इह कीर्तिविधातव्या सा च युद्धेन नान्यथा
Translation
دنیا میں کوئی بھی سکھ دائمی نہیں؛ پھر سلطنت اور شہرت کیسے قائم رہ سکتی ہیں؟ یہاں تو کیرتی ہی کمانی چاہیے، اور کیرتی جنگ کے سوا کسی اور ذریعے سے نہیں ملتی۔
