कार्त्तिकेयाभिषेकः — Consecration of Kārttikeya and the Enumeration of His Retinue

राजन! नृपश्रेष्ठ! विधिपूर्वक प्रणाम करके वे सब कार्तिकेयका प्रिय करनेकी इच्छासे यह वचन बोले-- ।।

rājan nṛpaśreṣṭha vidhipūrvakaṃ praṇāmaṃ kṛtvā te sarve kārtikeyasya priyaṃ kartum icchayā idaṃ vacanam abruvan— asya bālasya bhagavan ādhipatyaṃ yathepsitam | asmatpriyārtha deveśa sadṛśaṃ dātum arhasi | deveśvara bhagavan asmākaṃ priyaṃ kartum asmai bālakāya yathāyogyaṃ manasa icchānurūpaṃ kim api ādhipatyaṃ pradātum arhasi |

“اے دیویشور، اے بھگوان! ہماری خوشنودی کے لیے اس بچے کو اس کی خواہش کے مطابق، اس کے شایانِ شان اقتدار عطا فرمائیے۔”
