तत्राप्यधिकसंतापो विश्वामित्रो महामुनि: । दृष्टवा तेजो वसिष्ठस्थ चिन्तामभिजगाम ह,उनमें भी महामुनि विश्वामित्रको ही अधिक संताप होता था, वे वसिष्ठका तेज देखकर चिन्तामग्न हो गये थे

tatrāpy adhika-santāpo viśvāmitro mahāmuniḥ | dṛṣṭvā tejo vasiṣṭha-sthaṃ cintām abhijagāma ha ||

وَیشَمپایَن نے کہا—پھر بھی ان دونوں میں مہامنی وشوامتر ہی کو زیادہ کرب لاحق ہوا۔ وسِشٹھ میں قائم روحانی تَیج کو دیکھ کر وہ گہری فکر میں ڈوب گیا۔
