Adhyāya 33: Rauhiṇeya (Balarāma) is welcomed and takes his seat to witness the gadā-engagement
तस्य तदू वचन श्रुत्वा पाण्डवा: सहसृज्जया: । सर्वे सम्पूजयामासुस्तद्वव्ो विजिगीषव:,दुर्योधनका यह वचन सुनकर विजयकी इच्छा रखनेवाले समस्त पाण्डवों और सूंजयोंने भी उसकी बड़ी सराहना की
tasya tad u vacanaṁ śrutvā pāṇḍavāḥ saha sṛñjayāḥ | sarve sampūjayāmāsus tad vavo vijigīṣavaḥ ||
اُس کے وہ الفاظ سن کر فتح کے خواہاں پانڈو سِرنجیوں کے ساتھ سب نے یک زبان ہو کر اُس بیان کی تعظیم کی اور اس کی بھرپور ستائش کی۔
दुर्योधन उवाच
Even amid warfare, speech that is perceived as purposeful—strengthening resolve, unity, or strategic clarity—wins public approval; the verse highlights how collective endorsement can consolidate an alliance’s morale and direction.
After hearing a particular statement, the Pāṇḍavas along with their Sṛñjaya allies respond in unison by honoring and praising it, showing shared intent to win and reinforcing solidarity.
