“महात्मा विदुरने जो बात कही है, उसके अनुसार मैं उस दुरात्माके सम्पूर्ण निश्चयको आज जानता हूँ ।। यो हि श्रुत्वा वच: पथ्यं जामदग्न्याद्‌ यथातथम्‌ । अवामन्यत दुर्बुद्धिर्धुव॑ं नाशमुखे स्थित:,“जिस दुर्बुद्धिने यमदग्निनन्दन परशुरामजीके मुखसे यथार्थ एवं हितकारक वचन सुनकर भी उसकी अवहेलना कर दी, वह निश्चय ही विनाशके मुखमें स्थित है

yo hi śrutvā vacaḥ pathyaṃ jāmadagnyād yathātatham | avāmanyata durbuddhir dhruvaṃ nāśamukhe sthitaḥ ||

مہاتما ودُر نے جو بات کہی تھی، اسی کے مطابق آج میں اُس بدروح کے پورے ارادے کو جان گیا ہوں۔ جو کج فہم جَامَدَگنیہ (پرشورام) کے منہ سے سچ اور بھلائی کی بات سن کر بھی اسے حقیر جانے، وہ یقیناً ہلاکت کے دہانے پر کھڑا ہے۔
