Sauptika Parva, Adhyāya 15
अस्त्रमस्त्रेण तु रणे तव संशमयिष्यता । विसृष्टमर्जुनेनेदं पुनश्न प्रतिसंहृतम्,देखो, रणभूमिमें अपने अस्त्रद्वारा तुम्हारे अस्त्रको शान्त करनेके उद्देश्यसे ही अर्जुनने उसका प्रयोग किया था और अब पुन: उसे लौटा लिया है
astram astreṇa tu raṇe tava saṁśamayīṣyatā | visṛṣṭam arjunenedam punaś ca pratisaṁhṛtam ||
ویاس نے کہا— میدانِ جنگ میں ارجن نے یہ اَستر اسی لیے چھوڑا تھا کہ اپنے اَستر سے تمہارے اَستر کو تھام کر بے اثر کر دے؛ اور مقصد پورا ہوتے ہی اس نے اسے پھر واپس سمیٹ لیا۔
